Monday

Well already I missed Sunday after saying I would write daily. Well, as long as I enter my thoughts frequently, I will be all right (I think!!).
The dinner Jen made us was great which ended up to be a chicken pasta dish with warm French bread. Banana splits for dessert. Then, we watched the movie, Martian Child, which was very good and it stars John Cossack who I love anyway. After the movie, we headed home as needed to take our Shih Tzu, Taffy, out before she had an accident in the house. Jen was an excellent hostess this evening.
Sunday we decided to go on a short quad ride in the hills close to home. It was pretty short as many trails are gated now and so we could not get through and ride where we planned. Oh well, it was a little outing anyway. It was a great day with temps in the high 80's with lots of sunshine. Can't compare to our QZ day rides though.
Today not much happening. I did make some bread in the bread machine and now I am experimenting with putting the setting on dough and then forming a loaf of bread and freezing it. Then, when I need bread and don't have time to do it in the bread machine, I can take out a frozen loaf and let it rise and bake it. Hopefully, this will work as well as the frozen loafs you can buy.
Was nice and sunny here earlier and now it is all cloudy and cooling down--would be nice to get more rain and wash away the pollen.
