Saturday already

Missed a few days of entering anything in this journal, but I am vowing to try and write each day, so who knows if that will happen!
Fri. the 25th, Jer and I were up early to go to the VA by 8a.m. Jer had a informative class for his upcoming colonoscopy --it was a good class given by Nurse Debbie! The procedure will be scheduled for sometime in June, will get the appt. notice next week most likely.
Today we did some house cleaning and planted 3 six-packs of petunias I bought last Wed. They look so colorful in the garden. Since I am a "pink-aholic" (a label my friend, Anne, gave me) most of the petunias are pink, yes, and also a deep lavender.
Tonight for dinner, we are going to my daughter's home and my g/daughter, Jen, who is almost 16, is making us spaghetti. Apparently she has even made a dessert. So, imagine that-- it will be fun. After dinner, we will watch a movie, "Martian Child"---also give Jen's sis, Sarah, her belated B-Day gift. Looking forward to the visit and now I don't have to cook tonight!!!!
Weather has turned warm and sunny again with temps near 80 --after a week of 50's and rain, sprinkles, wind and dreariness. I hope this warm weather stays around for awhile now!
We do need the rain but I don't like it unless I can curl up in the recliner and crochet or read all day!
That is about it for today as have to get ready for the big evening out --will let you know how the dinner went tomorrow and see what else tomorrow will bring--
