May Pole Day

I remember how we loved May 1st as kids--the day there were long ribbons on the "May Pole" and we each took a ribbon and wound it around the pole. I think there was a song we sang while we danced around the pole. I am sure the schools don't do that anymore though.
Now that it is May hope we have nicer weather --warmer weather--never can be sure though.
Anne and Bob Stice should be here this coming Sun. for a 2 wk visit and that will be a blast. Can't wait to see them again. We plan to go to Hat Creek to camp for a wk if the weather stays warm. It can get darn cold up there in May--we found that out a few yrs ago.
Have just spent the last few days preparing for company and hanging out.
So, will go for now and take care til next time, Patty
