August Already???

Can't believe it has been so long since I wrote in this journal. Since the last time, Jer and I met friends, Bob and Anne Stice, at Hat Creek and camped in a beautiful area for 2 wks. We even had cell phone and internet service--I know it was primitive camping all right!!!! Jer and I were happy also since we were able to go quad riding quite often and we saw some new territory that way. I will try to include some pix.
We left camp and got home the end of July and our friends came with us and stayed at our place for another week. So, I had a good 3 wk vacation!!!! Since then I have been cleaning and cleaning (house, RV, quad) and doing laundry, so I have officially declared the vacation over for this summer!
We are beginning to get ready to go to the southwestern desert and can hardly wait. We can go quading every day there just from our campsite. At home, we can't do any ATV riding. So, anxious to go exploring and geo-caching again. Patty and Dan, we ought to get tog. on that activity.
Still smoky around here and imagine that will continue until we leave home the end of Sept. It is affecting Jer's sinus's but for some reason, mine are ok this time.
Well, better go as it is summer Olympics time and I don't want to miss any events especially the gymnastics or the diving. Till next time then, love, Pat
