My daughter, Lynn, planned the big Sweet 16 b-day party for her daughter which took place last Fri. May 30th. Jen was pretty much surprised but the real surprise for her was the 2007 black VW Jetta she got as a gift. Think she almost fainted over that one!!! Wed (11th) she takes her driver's test and then she can buzz around town in her own little car!!!
The party was loads of fun too --even hosted a DJ for dancing --I remembered to wear my dancing shoes even! Sorry to say, Jer and I can't dance as long as we did in our youth--HA.
But, at least we kicked up our heels for a little bit around the dance floor.
Since Sat. we have been working on our yard and landscaping and finally getting some projects done that have only been verbalized for yrs!!!
