Looking out at the nice sunny day, leaves are branching out on all the trees and I am hoping it will soon be in the 70's at least! Probably 70 degree weather consistently is not possible for another month or so.
Haven't done much exciting this week after a totally busy week before with Hal and family visiting. Coy, Cara and Alex did come here for dinner last Sun. and we were able to bbq some steaks. Had a great time.
Thurs. afternoon attended Jen's soccer game and she played well; played offense this time whereas she usually plays defense. One bad thing is that a player stepped on her left foot really hard and her toes are all bruised. Hope it is just that and her big toe is not broken. In a previous game, she sprained her thumb so has sustained some injuries lately. Isn't on the injury disabled list yet though!
Today we have just hung out basically. I did some crocheting on a microwave bag for my friend and I to sell at craft shows this fall. Trying a new pattern so have to do a control test on it tonight and see how well the bag holds up before I crochet any more. Hope it is ok because this pattern goes together a lot faster than the other pretty pattern so I can make a good supply. The microwave bags are so great for baked potatoes or heating leftovers.
