Hal and Family Visit--Yea

Latest news in our family is that Hal, (Jer's son) his wife Christina and son, Erik, (5) have been visiting us for a week and we have had so much fun. They flew here from Dallas, their home town. Have had many get togethers at our house with walks down memory lane as both Hal and his older brother, Coy, remember coming here to visit their PaPa when they were kids. Yes, Jer's parents had owned this house and then we inherited it in 1998.
Today we had a farewell breakfast at Coy's house as Hal and family have to fly back home early Fri. morning. Both Coy and Hal teamed up to make us a delicious meal. It was lots of fun and laughs and so we hated to say goodbye! Christina will send us a CD so we can have a lasting record of all the good times this past week.
Jer and I loved seeing the family all together--it has been 4 yrs since Hal has been in Redding. He hopes to be able to move here by summer of 2009 and we are all praying for that.
Always seems to be a let-down when the visitors have to leave---
Looking forward now to a visit from some close friends in AZ but that won't be until the end of April or beg. of May.
Better wind this up and go make dinner so til the next time--so long, Patty
