Hi--We are back from San Carlos, MX after a wonderful week's vacation there. My friend, Carol, and I sat on the beach, relaxed, suntanned and collected seashells most every day. It was the life!!! Had the beach to ourselves most of the time. Did do some sight-seeing and shopping in San Carlos also. One bad thing was that Jer and I got these bad colds with a nasty cough while there so that was a real bummer.
But, it is good to get back to QZ too and our friends. Went on a beautiful quad ride yesterday over the Hog's Back --a series of steep hills, but great views of the valley. I had always heard that that ride was so scary so avoided it, but it wasn't scary at all and I loved the scenery. Some friends were with us and unfortunately, they have to leave QZ on Jan 31st so we will miss them.
Today visited a old friend from high school who was in QZ for a few days. It was great to actually visit in person as opposed to emails all the time. She lives in Bullhead City, AZ so is not too far from QZ.
Guess I have caught you up on the news to date now. Supposed to rain tomorrow and temps are still in the 60's around here. Hoping for 70's and 80's soon.
