Happy New Year--Auld Lang Syne --It's 2008!!!

Happy New Year--2008 already!
Had a blast at the N. Yrs Eve party at the Butchers. Met some great people from Central Valley, CA. The buffet table was loaded with delicious food and hamburgers were grilled. No one left hungry for sure. Loved the margaritas too! Relaxed and visited by the hugh campfire too which was good it was a rip, roaring one as it was really cold outside! About 30 people enjoyed the party. We all ushered in the New Year in style!!!
New Yrs. Day we all got together for brunch to try and eat up all the great food ---ended up visiting there for most of the day :) Wed. a group of us went quad riding to the footprint and then later 24 ate pizza and drank some suds at Silly Al's. It was so much fun. It was also karaokee night and so about 6 out of our group, got up on stage and displayed their singing talent. My husband, Jer, even joined in on a quartet singing "All My Ex's Live in Texas" and he was really good. That was a good choice of a song for him since his ex did live in Texas for awhile.
The best news is that Jer and I are going to San Carlos, Mexico on Jan 10th for 10 days with about 6 other couples. I am so excited. San Carlos looks so pretty with its white sand beaches and we'll be parking our RV's right on the beach! Temps will be in the 80's so that sounds great. Get out of the cold here for awhile and hopefully, it will be warm here when we return.
So, life in 2008 is soooo good so far.
Best sign off for now as Taffy is needing some exercise so have a good one.
